Its waxed cotton with Goose Down lining in a Large Reg. and is extremely warm. It definitely has that broke in feel without you having to wear it for months to get it there. This vest served me well on many adventures until I unfortunately out grew it. Add this one to your collection and you too will enjoy its warmth and comfortable feel. Zipper and all snaps function properly.
