Domaine Dugat-Py 'Cuvee Coeur de Roy' Gevrey-Chambertin, 2018 navy strength The spirit of this single

The spirit of this single malt Scotch whisky was sourced from Caol Ila Distillery before Gordon and MacPhail matured it in its own casks for its new introductory range

Long and rather oily mouthfeel of subtle lemongrass notes and faint cane sweetness balanced by peppery spirit spice with an aftertaste of cracked pepper spice with grass and cane flavors

It is crisp and refreshing like its relatives in Sancerre

We would pair this with a wide variety of flavorful seafood stews

Domaine Dugat-Py 'Cuvee Coeur de Roy' Gevrey-Chambertin, 2018 navy strength The spirit of this singleLoc Dugat Py combines grapes from three separate lieux dits Les Epointures, Combes du Dessus and Les Marchais to produce this stunning, old vine village Gevrey Chambertin. Floral, dense and intensely coloured, it has 50% each of whole bunches and new wood, violet and aniseed aromas, succulent tannins and intense blueberry and black cherry fruit. Not cheap, but this is as good as many Premiers Crus.
