On the flange type towbar, the towball is bolted to a faceplate on the tow bar, this allows accessories such as bumper protectors and cycle carrier (whilst leaving the towball free for towing) between the faceplate and towball. Can be used with nearly all accessories. Can be used with a bumper protectors. Most likely to interfere
